Christmas Season Love

“Christmas, the Story of God becoming the Man, Jesus, is the only hope we have of returning back to God. We must lean into the truth of God’s love displayed in Jesus’ coming. Our fall into depravity and alienation was because our confidence in the kindness and love of God was shaken. We doubted and doubt the love of God. Our recovery must begin with the belief of His love; ‘this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins."
~ I John 4:10

Kiss of Forgiveness

"The more willing you are to own up to your sin, the more willing God is to forgive you. When you come clean, God will clean your record. If you are willing to use your lips for confession, you will find your Father willing to use His lips to kiss you".

Powerful Grace

“Only two things have ever changed the human soul: the fall and grace, the power of Satan and the power of God. And God is infinitely more powerful. Nothing is stronger than grace. Satan doesn’t have any. God is defined by it.”

Power To Believe

“The gospel is God’s good news. Though I was alienated from God and under his condemnation, living a life full of doubt and disobedience, God loved me and rescued me (Christ lived perfectly, died on a cross canceling my debt with God and rose alive from death) to forgive my doubt and disobedience; to be my righteousness and to be my power to believe God, say yes to him in worship and no to my sin.”

For All of Us

"The gospel...should be seen as not only a message of good news for lost people to be saved from sin's penalty, but also a message of good news for Christian people to be saved from sin's domineering power. The goal of the gospel is not merely to forgive us, but to change us into true worshippers of God and authentic lovers of people."
